Here is a simple Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte recipe that will earn you more brownie points than you can shake a sharp stick at!

What you Need

  • 1/2 cup hot brewed coffee
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoons Matcha Zen tea
  • 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin (this is not the pumpkin pie mix, but the pureed pumpkin)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Whipped cream (optional)

How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte

Warm the milk, the sugar, the pumpkin (don’t let it boil). Take the pot off the stove and add the pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and the coffee. Put a half a teaspoon of matcha into each cup and add a little hot milk from the pot. Whisk until frothy and then add the rest of the milk mixture. Top with whipped cream and a little sprinkle of cinnamon.

Makes 2 large cups.
