This delectable Belgian waffle recipe is made with culinary matcha powder which pretty much makes it the cat’s pjs! One of my favorite things about this recipe is that you can keep it covered in the fridge for about six days, so you can have waffles every morning for a week.
- 1 tbsp. culinary grade matcha powder
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp. white sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Turn on the waffle iron. Beat eggs in a large bowl until fluffy. Add culinary matcha powder and beat until there are no lumps. Add other ingredients and mix until smooth (about two minutes). Pour into waffle iron and serve hot with syrup and fruit.
