This delicious matcha milkshake recipe won’t just bring the boys to the yard, it will bring the whole damn town. During these dog days of summer, nothing cools you down as well as a nice cold milkshake so get shaking! This recipe uses non-dairy products because dairy does block some of the beneficial powers of matcha, but feel free to use dairy products if that’s how you roll.
- 3/4 cup vanilla dairy-free ice cream
- 1/4 cup soy milk
- 1 teaspoon matcha + 1/2 teaspoon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Place ingredients in the blender and mix until smooth. Pour into glasses and sprinkle the 1/2 teaspoon of matcha on top for garnish.
